Welcome to our site. Here at Golden Stone Retrievers we are dedicated in producing happy, healthy, beautiful family dogs. Located in Santa Margarita, Calif, we have been breeding Golden Retrievers for 25 years and cross the show lines with the hunting lines creating the perfect family dog.

The puppies are ranch raised and exposed to other dogs, cats and the smell of horses. Our dogs have  excellent dispositions, energy and great agility. They are your family partner and can adjust to a quiet family setting or go with you hiking, camping or horseback riding. They love the water and playing ball or just sitting at your feet (or in your lap) in front of a cozy fire.

Our dogs have excelled in obedience and agility trials plus some have become wonderful therapy dogs or companions for senior citizens . The coloring and coats range in type and shade. Some puppies have very flat coats, some are slightly wavy and a few are curly, which is a recessive gene that goes back to the original Goldens owned by Lord Tweedmouth of Scotland. Colors can be very light to dark and all shades in between.  We encourage you to visit our ranch and see our family of Golden Retrievers.
